During the night an angel appeared in the room

Last Week:
Jerry Wiley has also known trouble. He and his dad were taking off from a new airstrip Wiley wanted to show his dad. But as soon as the plane was in the air it lost power. Wiley tried to bring the plane back down when all of a sudden he saw a tree coming towards the left wing of the plane. . .

"Mayday, Mayday!"
The tree hit the wing causing it to crash into huge boulders on the ground and the plane flipped over. The motor tore off and landed in Wiley's lap. He tried to turn off the engine when he saw that they were leaking fuel. He knew that the fuel could make the plane explode. After finding the keys he finally was able to turn off the engine. The plane had skid 100 feet but it did not explode! Wiley's dad had many cracked ribs and a broken nose from the crash and Wiley's legs were burned badly from the motor. They both had cuts and bruises but had lived.
That night when they were at the hospital they had a visitor. It was an angel who lit up the whole room like the sun. The angel told Wiley's dad to tell his son that everything was ok. God was going to take care of them. And He did. A year and a half later Wiley bought a new plane and is still flying today.

Jesus Saves!
These three men do a lot to help the Indians. They bring supplies for them and also pray for their sick to be healed. One time, a little Indian boy was bitten by a snake and almost died. The Christian doctors and pilots placed their hands on him and prayed that the boy would not die from the poison. One hour later, the boy was outside playing with his friends.

On another mission trip, a pastor was preaching under a tree when a scorpion fell out of the tree and down his shirt. It stung him several times on his stomach. The pastor and the people with him were all worried because the kind of scorpion that stung him was very dangerous. But Witt and some others prayed for him. In just a few minutes the swelling was gone and he was fine. He kept preaching like nothing had happened.

Once a little girl was raised back from the dead. Her mother brought her to the Mercy Wings mission team when she found out she had died. One of the team members was sad and felt sorry for the little girl. He picked her up and started crying and praying that God would heal her, in Jesus name.

Twelve minutes later she opened her eyes! She was alive! Then, she sat up and said she was thirsty. That hour she walked home with her mother! God had answered their prayers.

Pass It On
The Mercy Wings pilots are happy to help the Indians with their airplanes, radios and prayers. Even though sometimes they have to work hard they know that God is protecting them and blessing them. Witt says, "We are nothing special. We just do what God wants us to do. And someday after we're old and can't work anymore God will give the job to someone else who will keep it going."
