Give - Into Africa

Our homes for the kids are limited to twenty or less in order to keep the "family" feeling, individuals, churches and organizations can get personally involved with one family of boys/girls here. These kids like knowing that someone is praying for them, that there is life beyond their village, and that people love them and care about their future. Here’s how you can help:

- Kids love to receive pictures of people who care about them. They like to receive notes with scripture verses, book markers, and pictures of families.

- You can collect things for them, like books (nice used ones are great) and good videos (rated G, please, --especially those that teach good morals and family values, biblical science, Bible stories and those that enhance their education and broaden their perspective of life). These can be sent over with people who come for visits or missions trips--rather than shipping them, which is expensive--though possible.

- The boys need good leather belts, good socks and underwear (not white, please, but dark colors). We can get used shoes and clothes here in Kenya.

- The kids also love receiving gifts for special days like birthdays and Christmas.

- You can supply school fees, text books, uniforms, and school shoes for each child. Your gift of $100 per child per year can make this happen for a child. The following year the home-business will cover these expenses.

- Monthly support for your general operation, office staff and people who care for the mission house and grounds.

- You can assist in providing children a safe haven with your contribution of $5,000 for a home of 20 boys or 20 girls .

- If a particular family or group wants to sponsor one home set but cannot afford $5,000, we can set up smaller homes with even five or so children.

- You can assist us in raising the $65,000 for the mission house we are now renting. We are on a lease/option, the total amount is due April 2003. We have already put over $12,000 into this house--for security and an underground water tank.
